Echinodorus martii is an excellent choice for the larger aquarium. Like many other species, this plant can be found in shallow waters in South America mainly Brazil. Ruffled leaf margins give this Echinodorus its common name, ruffled sword plant. Tall upright leaves make Echinodorus martii a great choice for the centerpiece of an aquarium or background areas.

Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Remove dead leaves. Using aquascaping tweezers, plant in nutrient rich substrate.
