Common Name: Windeløv's Java Fern
Microsorum pteropus 'Windeløv' is a patented cultivar variety of Microsorum pteropus, named after Tropica's founder Holger Windeløv as a group decision for Tropica's 25th aniversery in 1995. It was developed in the Tropica facilities after a naturally occured mutation was developed after several generations until the species became stable. Its finely branched leaf tips make it one of the most beautiful aquarium plants. The Microsorum variety becomes 15-20 cm tall and wide.This plant is not eaten by herbivorous fish.

Microsorum pteropus 'Windeløv'
Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Remove dead leaves. Attach plant to rock or wood with fishing line or gel based super glue. If planting in substrate only burry the roots and not the rhizome.
A hardy and easy plant for both beginners and the more experienced. Does well with low light and no CO2 but will do best with moderate to high light, CO2 and added liquid fertalizer.
