Common Name: Crypt. Flamingo
Endemic to Borneo, this Cryptocoryne species will defenitly bring a splash of color to your aquascape. The ruffled leaves and pink coloration really sets this plant apart from the other more common Crypts.This is an extremely rare and sought after plant especially for crypt collectors. New leaves tend to have a blood red color initially which naturally lighten up into a pinkish tint over time.
NOTE: This plant is not available in the US by Tropica.
Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Flamingo'
Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Remove any dead leaves. Using aquascaping tweezers, plant in substrate.
It is generally a pretty easy plant to keep once it gets established in an aquarium. When grown under optimum conditions with high light and CO2, this plant can develop an intense pink coloration.
