Common Name: Red Rubin Sword
Echinodorus sp. 'Red Rubin' is a great background and center piece plant with it's bold and vibrant colors. The leaves are wavy in texture and long with short stems. Red Rubin sword plants can display a range of colors from red, purple, and gold to green or dark green depending on lighting conditions. This species can easily grow emersed or submersed. Great for medium to large aquascapes.

Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Remove dead leaves. Using aquascaping tweezers, plant in substrate.
Like many other species of sword plants, this species does need a nutrient rich soil to thrive. CO2 injection is not required and we recomend moderate lighting. The plant propagates through side shoots. These baby plants can be removed and replanted.
