Rotala rotundifolia 'Blood Red'

This plant is grown in-vitro and is kept in a nutrient medium. Gently remove the plant from the cup and rinse in a container of aquarium water to remove access medium. Separate into desired portions and plant into aquarium soil with aquascaping tweezers.

This plant is easy to grow and can thrive in relatively low light and nutrient conditions. However, to achieve the most intense coloration, plenty of light and added CO2 is recommended. The plant grows erect to slightly arching, producing many branches. Regular trimming is needed to ensure good light penetration and water flow among the stems. The trimmings can be replanted.
