This plant is grown in-vitro and is kept in a nutriant medium. Gently remove plant from cup and rinse in a container of aquarium water to remove medium. Remove any dead leaves and separate into portions and plant into substrate with aquascaping tweezers.
This resilient plant is undemanding, thriving in a variety of water conditions and lighting levels, although moderate lighting and CO2 injection will yield the best results. With regular trimming, Hygrophila odora maintains a compact, bushy shape, making it a versatile addition for any aquascape style.
