Common Name: Blue Water Hyssop
Bacopa caroliniana originates from US and has been used as an aquarium plant for many years. As the plant grows out of the water it can flower producing small pink/purplish flowers.
Stems become 10-30 cm long and 3-4 cm wide. It is a great beginner background plant.

Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Using aquascaping tweezers, plant in substrate. Remove any dead leaves.Apart from relatively good light it makes few demands. Its slow growth rate makes it one of the few stem plants that do not need much attention.Like most stem plants, it is most decorative when planted in small groups. Easy to propagate by cuttings; take a side shoot and plant it in the bottom. CO2 is not required and can thrive in low light. DO NOT RELEASE PLANTS OR LIVESTOCK INTO LOCAL WATERWAYS.
