Using this soil as a base in your aquascape will facilitate the best possible plant growth. ScaperLine Soil makes the water softer and creates a slightly acidic pH range that is favorable for many aquarium plants. Active soil can absorb nutrients from the water and release them again when needed - the buffer effect is ideal for sustained good plant growth. The 2-4 mm grain size of the ScaperLine Soil is perfect for all aquascapes and provides good support for the plant root. The soil grains are baked at lower temperatures and are agreeably robust but not too dense. The soil resists compaction to let roots grow freely through it in your aquascape.
