Scientific Name: Uca sp.
These fiddler crabs are found in brackish environments in the wild which is basically a mix of salt and freshwater. They are semi-aquatic meaning they can live both in and out of the water. They get their name due to their fiddle like claw which is mostly common in males.
Fiddler crabs are low maintenance and are usually kept in small to medium-sized aquariums (at least 10 gallons). They are fun pets to watch and can live for up to 3 years. These specimens were collected in Florida.
