For aquariums, to treat "ich" disease (ichthyophthiriasis) of freshwater fishes and "marine ich" disease (cryptocaryonaisis) of marine fishes, add one (1) teaspoon (~5 mL) of Ich-X to 10 gallons of aquarium water.

We recommend aerating the water and increase the temperature gradually to speed up the life cycle of ich. The disease can only be attacked by medication when the spores are in the water column.
