Common Name: Ruffled Sword Plant
Aponogeton crispus from Sri Lanka looks great in any aquarium with its light-green, wavy and transparent leaves. Leaves measure from 10-20 inches and the plant grows to 6-10 inches wide. Aponogeton crispus is generally found in ponds that are only filled with water in the rainy season, but it does not need a dormant period in the aquarium. A great background plant!
NOTE: This plant is not available in the US by Tropica.

Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Remove dead leaves. Using aquascaping tweezers, plant in substrate.
A medium category plant requiring moderate lighting and low CO2 injection. It has few demands, although growth is always best in soft, slightly acidic water with a nutritious bottom. In such conditions the plant produces a mass of leaves, and it flowers very frequently in optimum conditions.
DO NOT RELEASE PLANTS AND LIVESTOCK INTO LOCAL WATERWAYS.
