Also known as Congo wood. Mopani wood is sandblased African root wood and has a beautiful coloration and texture which will give a nice naturalistic feel to any aquascape. This wood is very popular and a great base for mosses and epiphytes like anubias and ferns.

Like many other natural woods, Mopani can leach tanins into the water. If you do not wish for this we recomend soaking the wood for at least two weeks.
By soaking the wood will also be water loged and will have a better chance of not floating in the aquarium.
